How is a Lisle Violin Shop Instrument Created?
Our luthiers and repair staff spend countless hours setting up all of our instruments to exacting standards which meet or exceed your teacher’s requirements. Every part of the instrument is carefully selected for optimum sound and playability. Instrument setup is comprised of carving the bridge, planing the fingerboard, fitting a soundpost, fitting the pegs, and many more parts which all need to function optimally so the player is not hampered in his or her performance. We have a number of instrument setup specialist on staff to make sure that every one of the instruments we sell or rent meets our exacting standards.
