Payment Plans for Instrument Purchases
Rental customers may utilize their rental credit for up to 80% of the purchase price of any Lisle Violin Shop outfit. All prices featured in our shop and in our online catalog are realistic selling prices, not “list prices”. In addition to this, eligible customers may choose to finance the outfit of their choice up to 12 payments in 12 months or less, interest-free with approval. (Downpayment may be required. Rental credit may not be used towards consignments. Financing is not available for consignment purchases.)

Instrument Warranty
Stringed Instruments, new or used, and repairs are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from date of delivery with the following exceptions and conditions as listed below:
- Strings installed as part of the original setup on LVS instruments are guaranteed for SEVEN DAYS after purchase. This guarantee excludes corrosion, playing related wear and tear, and over tuning.
- Top and bottom plate seams and fingerboard joints are guaranteed for no longer than SIX MONTHS. Wood warpage related to moisture or improper maintenance is not covered under this warranty. We recommend checking all top and bottom seams and fingerboard joints every six months to ensure that any open seams are rejoined in a timely manner as part of the normal maintenance of a wood instrument.
- This warranty is issued to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
- Lisle Enterprises, LLC or Lisle Enterprises designee is the sole judge of the applicability of any provision of this warranty. Abuse, accidental damage, normal depreciation, or repair by unauthorized person(s) may void any or all provisions of this warranty. Lisle Violin Shop’s liability for defects in materials or workmanship is limited to the correction of those defects. There is no liability for consequential damages. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any shipping charges if applicable.

Repair Warranty
Repairs are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of SIX MONTHS from date of delivery with the following exceptions and conditions as listed below:
- Open seam repairs are guaranteed for no longer than THREE MONTHS. Wood warpage related to moisture or improper maintenance is not covered under this warranty.
- Some repairs may not be guaranteed due to the nature of the repair. These repairs are typically intended to extend the life of an instrument or bow for a short time after major damage and are less expensive. As a result, they cannot be guaranteed as they are intended as a stopgap measure instead of a full repair. The customer will be informed regarding these types of repairs prior to the actual repair.
- Bow hair length, wedges, knots, and camber are guaranteed to be secure and correct for as long as the bow retains its full hank of hair but no longer than THIRTY DAYS.
- Special requests as to bow hair length or other repairs outside our normal specifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Since these repairs do not fall within our normal specifications, they would be excluded from our normal warranty. Customers will be informed prior to repair if a special request is made. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify any special requests are correctly stated on the work order. Lisle Violin Shop reserves the right to refuse any repair which does not meet our standards or specifications.
